Accreditation Services for Training Providers
TAC TEFL Accreditation Council

1. Accreditation Services

1.1. The TAC TEFL Accreditation Council evaluates and accredits educational programs of all types, including TEFL/TESOL and other training courses, to ensure they meet established quality standards.

1.2. This agreement becomes effective upon receipt of payment.

1.3. A one-time application fee of £250 (GBP) is required to initiate the course evaluation process.

1.4. The annual accreditation subscription fee is £650 (GBP).

1.5. Training providers must submit their course materials after paying the £250 (GBP) application fee.

2. Refund Policy

2.1. The £250 (GBP) application fee is non-refundable if course materials are not submitted or if the provider withdraws from the accreditation process.

2.2. Courses that fully meet our quality standards will be accredited, and the provider may then pay the £650 (GBP) annual subscription fee for accreditation validity.

2.3. Courses meeting at least 70% of the standards will be accredited on a provisional basis, with feedback provided for necessary improvements to be completed within 12 months.

2.4. Courses falling below 70% compliance will not be accredited. The £250 (GBP) application fee remains non-refundable; however, one resubmission is allowed at no additional charge.

3. Scope of Accreditation Services

3.1. Accreditation applies to all types of training courses, regardless of subject area or focus, provided they meet our evaluation criteria.

3.2. Feedback given during the evaluation process excludes assistance with content creation or detailed revisions.

3.3. TAC TEFL Accreditation Council does not provide development or consulting services for building or finalising courses.

4. Benefits of Accreditation

4.1. Accredited training providers will be listed on the TAC TEFL Accreditation Council’s website for 12 months upon payment of the annual subscription fee.

4.2. This listing confirms that the provider’s course meets the required accreditation standards.

4.3. Accredited providers are authorized to display the TAC TEFL Accreditation Council logo on their promotional materials, website, and certificates for the duration of their subscription.

5. Accreditation Expiry and Restrictions

5.1. If accreditation is not renewed, the provider’s listing will be removed, and the use of the TAC TEFL Accreditation Council logo will no longer be permitted.

5.2. The issuance and management of certificates, including certificate numbering, are the sole responsibilities of the accredited provider.

5.3. The TAC TEFL Accreditation Council does not authenticate certificates or provide legalisation services such as apostilles.

5.4. Accreditation services are offered exclusively to training providers and not directly to their students.

5.5. Upon inquiry from students, the Council will verify and confirm the validity of a provider’s accreditation status.

6. Standards and Evidence

Before applying for accreditation, providers should review the TAC TEFL Accreditation Council’s standards and evidence requirements to ensure their course materials align with accreditation criteria.
